Dormitel Project Toril

2019 is another year where we started venturing into a new boarding house/dormitory project in Toril, Davao City, Philippines.

The project location is just 13 kilometers away from Eden Nature Park.

Later on once this project is completed this would be one of your choices for AirBNB Bookings.

This project should have started June of 2018 and was stalled as we are undecided at that time to proceed on the negotiation with the contractor.

We had the chance to have our vacation last December of 2018 and was able to have a "face to face" discussion with the newly recommended contractor.

Here's some timeline on the progress of the project

20 January 2019

After 2 weeks of discussion on the perspective and floor plan here's what's being agreed by the contractor and owner.

We are just awaiting for the Bill Of Materials and total projected cost of this project.

Stock Alert: Sell SMPH, Buy SECB (10 March 2016 - Thursday)

buy below our Buy Below Price of P154.20.

Bank Financing Comparison : BDO versus East West Bank

I have accounts on this 2 banks so I decided to compare on which would be more cost effective in terms of interest.

The loan will be used on an apartment building in Cabanatuan City just at the back of Wesleyan University of the Philippines.

We have the budget but a bit short of a mil to start kicking off the project of additional 4 door apartment building.

We are supposed to delay it for another year to boost up our funds and we also thought of getting a loan (haven't done this before). Just looking up some figures on the respective bank's website below are the figures.

East West is a bit high with a few hundreds but I haven't look at yet on the processing side of things which is also a part of the consideration.
